In November, the UNESCO-UIA Council for Architecture Education validated the Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul, Turkey.
The validation council consisted in Prof Nuno Soares from USJ in Macau, Prof Dr. Fernando Ramos, Vity Claude Nsalambi from Agostinho Neto University in Angola, Martin Pearce from the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Professor Dr. Zeno Bogdanescu from Ion Mincu University in Romania.
The joined UNESCO-UIA Study Program Validationpromotes exceptional architectural education around the world, setting an international standard of quality to participant schools. This program was created to achieve the Goal 11 (out of 16) of the UNESCO’s Sustainable Development Agenda for 2030: “Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable”.
