Synergies from different academic institutions are always welcomed. In order to potentialize that, University of Saint Joseph’s Faculty of Creative Industries met with the Politecnico di Milano Rectorate aiming to strengthen the links between the two universities in the fields of Architecture and Design. The representatives from the Macau University were Prof. Nuno Soares, in his quality of Acting Head of the Department of Architecture, alongside USJ’s Faculty of Creative Industries Dean, Prof. Carlos Sena Caires.

The meeting was hosted by Prof. Marco Imperadori, the Delegate for International Relationship Far East Asia at the Politecnico di Milano, and the participants discussed ways to reinforce the collaboration ties between both universities. This will happen not only through their International Mobility partnership, heralding new projects for the future with joint initiatives that could see more exchange students in both institutions, but also with teaching collaborations.
